The Story Of Our Lives
Believers, do not ever underestimate the power of your own testimony.
GOD has called each of us to be witnesses for Him, not lawyers. A lawyer is one who argues a case. But a witness is someone who testifies of what he’s seen & heard. Church, we are witnesses for our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus said:
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses
unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
A real Christian with an authentic testimony is of greater worth than a 1,000 books full of arguments as to why Christianity is the only true faith. Now I’m not against apologetics, I use it all the time. We ought to be able to give a Biblical defense & well-ordered, logical presentation for the things we believe. But you do not have to be theologically to be a great witness for our Lord. Some of the greatest witnessing for Christ occurs right after a person is saved. While their faith is still in its infant state, the passion & excitement of their testimony along with their transformed life is powerful & it arrests people’s attention.
