Unshackled Joy
I want to talk to you tonight about unshackled rejoicing. This is one of the passages every believer should turn to when they feel like they’re losing their joy. You see, sooner or later, you’re going to find yourself seemingly incarcerated, feeling imprisoned, perhaps shackled, & these moments threaten the experience of our joy as believers. You say, “Pastor, I’m not in prison, & I don’t intend to go.” Friend, there’s more than one kind of prison. There are some here tonight who are in a dungeon of despair, they are shackled with stress, they are caged in by negative circumstances. And it seems you cannot escape or break out of these prison walls. There are others who are in the chains of poor health. Others are behind iron bars of disappointment, disappointment from family members far from GOD. Some are in the bondage of a bad situation that you can’t get away from. Am I talking to anyone here tonight?
