The Trap of The Fear of Man

The Bible warns of the fear of man. According to Proverbs 29:25, this fear is a trap. It says that the fear of man bringeth a snare. A snare is an instrument used for catching animals, particularly birds, by the leg. How many Christians have betrayed their loyalty to Christ, compromised their personal convictions, grieved the Holy Spirit, & consequently brought something damaging, defiling, or destructive into their life, all because they feared what others thought? How many people are in hell tonight because they feared what others thought or might do to them instead of fearing Almighty GOD? The fear of man is a powerful trap! Someone may ask, “how do you overcome this fear?” By trusting in the Lord.
