Do You Truly Want To Do GOD’s Will?

   Asking GOD, “What is Your will for my life,” is always the right thing to do. Through the years I have had countless people come to me for counsel & prayer about the Lord’s will in a particular matter or choice they needed to make. That always sounds good when I hear it because we should be seeking GOD’s will in everything. But the problem in many of these situations is that a lot of people do not really want to do GOD’s will. What they really want is for me to simply endorse some decision that they have already made. That is the very situation we find in our text. There’s a warning for all of us here about approaching GOD with a dissembled heart. Dissembled means hid, concealed, disguised, or pretended. It speaks of a hypocritical heart; it’s a heart that looks good on the surface, but under the surface you find something quite different.
