Delivered From The Miry Pit

As Christians, if we speak the truth & stand for Christ, sooner or later we’re going to find ourselves facing some degree of adversity, hostility, or slander. The reason is that we live in a sinful world that rejects GOD, loves sin, & hates the truth of GOD’s Word. It’s unlikely that because of our Christianity that we’ll be thrown into a literal pit like the prophet Jeremiah. Nevertheless, we may find ourselves in some type of pit (emotional, psychological, or spiritual) due to persecution at school or on the job, family rejection, abandonment by those closest to you, or social harassment or ostracism.
