A Heavenly Patriot

Jeremiah was accused of being a traitor of Judah, unpatriotic, disloyal, a turncoat, & a supporter of Babylon. He would be arrested, beaten, & thrown into prison after being accused of trying to go join the Babylonian military forces. But Jeremiah was no Benedict Arnold. He was a patriot for GOD & GOD’s people. While the nation saw Jeremiah’s messages of judgment as demoralizing & disloyal, they were actually messages that could have saved the people had they hearkened unto them & repented. Despite the adverse treatment that came from preaching these messages, Jeremiah would stay faithful to declaring the truth of GOD without compromise.
