The Danger of Feel-Good Preachers - Part 1

We’re continuing to make our way through this message that the prophet Jeremiah was given by GOD to deliver to king Zedekiah. The first portion of the message condemned the Davidic kings for their failure to seek GOD, heed His Word, uphold righteousness in the land, & protect the weak. And GOD being tired of wicked kings ruling over His people said that He had cut off the branch of David through Jehoichin. The result was that there would be no more kingly succession in Judah. However, there has been one bright spot in the message, we saw it last week—GOD promised to raise up another King in Israel who would be righteous unlike these wicked kings & also divine.
