This chapter has basically 3 themes— the restoration of Israel; the retribution on Israel; & the revenge for Israel. However, the verses that communicate these 3 themes are scattered throughout the chapter. Therefore, rather than go verse by verse through the text, I’m going to walk you through each of the 3 themes & we’ll cover the verses which correspond to each theme.
