A Marriage, A Mother, & A Miracle

We’re in a study of the life & ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ, & how fitting it is on this Mother’s Day that the passage of Scripture we’re looking at this morning involves the mother of Jesus. While my primary goal in this sermon is to lift up Jesus Christ, that’s the point of the text, I do want to make some specific applications for you mothers along the way. There are some wonderful lessons here for you, & for us all.

At 30 years old Jesus began His public ministry which was marked by teaching & miracles. This chapter reports the very first miracle that Jesus performed in His ministry. Though the Gospels record 37 of Jesus’ miracles, John tells us that Jesus did so many more than we read of.
